End each day by skiing directly onto our patio where you can kick your boots off and warm up by the fireplace before heading into town for fine Japanese cuisine. Wake up each morning to a hot breakfast and coffee, then pop your skis on and rip on down to Tsugaike Gondola. The town is in a valley surrounded by the large Japanese Alps and with 10 separate ski areas in the valley.

Explore deep powder stashes with our professionally certified ski guides. The guides will push you out beyond the resort boundaries, deeper into the stellar Japan backcountry. We plan to keep it completely flexible to chase the best snow conditions utilizing a mix of resort ski lifts, guided backcountry ski touring / splitboarding, and a private 4×4 van. Designed for advanced to experts, access to more backcountry guided days can be arranged upon request.

Your days will be filled with warm ramen for lunch and endless sushi and sake in the evenings. The mountains in Japan are volcanoes, which means there’s tons of hot springs to bathe in after a hard day of skiing. and…. don’t forget about the monkeys!
